Stampin' Up! Card Kits

So it’s been more than a couple of days, but I’m trying. I’m sure most people can agree that there are just not enough hours in the day. I could use one or two clones of myself. One to do laundry, one to do dishes, and on and on. Oh well, this is life. In my last post I was starting to talk about some of my Stampin’ Up creations.

Like I’ve already said, there are not enough hours in the day. Since I’m willing to bet nearly everyone will agree with me on that, I’ve kept that in mind when created some of the items that I have for sale on eBay and eCRATER. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who love to scrapbook or make cards, but just don’t have the time. I like to think that the card making kits I’ve made will let people have the fun of creating something, but take some of the work out of it for them!

The cards in all of my card kits (3 X 3 or 5 ½ X 4 ¼) are already scored and just need to be folded. A sample card is always included along with the supplies to recreate it. Of course I always hope people will use their imagination, but the samples can help take some of the guess work out of it. Most of the kits also come with a stamp, a marker, or colored pencils, or sometimes all of them!

Take a look at our eBay or eCRATER stores to see all of the kits we have available! If you are looking for a card kit for a specific occasion let me know and I may be able to help!

It's Been a Long Time

It has been so long since I’ve done anything with this blog that it is embarrassing. I have to admit that I actually forgot that it existed until I updated Top of the Mountain Creations’ website. I never was a very good blogger, but a several year gap in blogs is ridiculous! I was laughing at myself when I read through my last blog entry.

So, here I go again with another blogging attempt. Hopefully this time I’ll be more successful. I feel that I will because my motivations have changed. Or maybe I should say that I am more motivated to reach out to more people about Top of the Mountain Creations and make the business more successful. Since my last blog post many things have changed in my personal life. I’m now married, a home owner, and a mom. To be more specific, a stay at home mom who is also working from home. For those of you in this position, I’m sure you will agree that any and all extra income is welcomed!

Top of the Mountain Creations (TMC) has changed since the store was first opened in 2003. Originally the purpose was to sell cross stitch items handmade by myself and my mother, as well as clear out some closets! The store still does have a kind of online yardsale feel to it, but there is much more.

I like to think TMC really does have something for everyone. There are unique vintage items, vintage toys, but also a range of brand new items. I haven’t gotten completely away from craft items, just changed gears. There are also a variety of Stampin’ Up items. Some are brand new direct from Stampin’ Up and there are also items I’ve created myself.

More on that soon. . . and if anybody is actually reading this. . . I promise it will be a couple days, not a couple years!

It's been a long time....

since my last blog entry. My last entry was about spring and now fall is almost here! There's never enough hours in the day and I've been neglecting this blog and my eBay store terribly.

But I think I'm back on track now and hopefully things will be running more smoothly. I've reorganized by eBay store, Top of the Mountain Creations, to make it more user friendly, at least I hope it is! And I'll be featuring a different category of items each week on this blog. (Do to my previous bad track record I'm afraid to commit to more than that!)

My past entries have focused mostly on Stamin' Up! items, but Top of the Mountain Creations offers much more than that. In the future you'll be seeing posts and pictures about more of a variety of items.

Fall

Its the end of August and time to start thinking about the change of seasons. I'm always sad to see the end of summer, but fall is such a beautiful time of year. There is such a rich variety of colors that can be used in fall decorating. Hopefully the items pictured are as appealing to you as they are to me! Each of the items can be found for sale in the Fall / Halloween section of Top of the Mountain Creations.

Pictures, Pictures, and More Pictures!

The card pictured below was created with thoughts of Spring on my mind. The card itself is made from Apricot Appeal cardstock and the Certainly Celery and Perfuct Plum accent it niecely. This was a sample card that was included in a card making kit. This item has actually already been sold in my eBay store, but I can recreate a similar one if anyone is interested. The next picture shows all the supplies included in the kit. There is cardstock and accents for 11 cards and the sample is included for a total of 12 cards, plus 12 envelopes.

Can you tell I like Apricot Appeal? The next card set also revolves around a Spring time theme. This year it seemed like winter would never end so this was my way of bringing Spring into my home a little early!

Like the set above, the sample card is included, plus enough supplies to make 11 additional cards. It also comes with 12 envelopes. This card kit is still for sale on eBay. If you like either one of these kits, but would like different colors, let me know and maybe something could be worked out!

As well as card making kits, my eBay store is stocked full of other Stampin' Up! supplies. I have brand new packages of cardstock and ink, precut cardstock for cardmaking, plus they'll be new things added all of the time. Anyones thoughts or comments are always appreciated!
